Flexible solutions for dividing up space in style

Ergonomics, comfort, functionality, aesthetics. These are the key words when organising space in an office.

The involvement and serenity, which a well-designed space confers, are all important elements in ensuring the best environment for those who work.
Reschini presents a complete line for the design and organisation of all vital office spaces: from workstations, to archives, reception, relaxation corners and boardrooms. All have a fundamental importance, all must adhere to the same design choices to foster a sense of corporate identity.

Beyond walls: the art of dividing spaces

Modula walls

The MODULA partition wall system has an aluminium support structure and steel connections. The standard components of this simple system guarantee quick installation and the possibility of disassembly and reassembly over time. The load-bearing structure consists of a single 50 x 34 mm profile, which can be used both as a mullion and a transom, thus optimising the vertical and horizontal dimensions. These profiles are fixed together by means of steel U-bolts.
The insertion of the infills is achieved with simple hook fittings that, applied to panels and/or transparent elements, allow interchangeable modules to be hung on the structure by means of four-point locks. This ensures that the transoms do not have to withstand static loads.
Different types of buffers are available:
  • blind panelling, 18 mm thick, on both sides of the wall
  • single central glass
  • two single panes of glass, one on each side of the wall
  • central double glazing
  • two semi-structural single panes, one on each side of the wall
  • two structural single panes, one on each side of the wall
The transparent elements are made of aluminium profiles, cut at 45°, assembled by means of aluminium brackets supported by stainless steel alignment brackets.
Special aluminium profiles allow the integration of openable elements (doors and windows) on which panelling up to 40 mm thick, simple or insulating glazing, with possible fixed or openable fanlights, can be installed.
The lateral wall connections and ceiling connections are fitted with telescope profiles and corresponding compensation and thrust accessories in order to be able to recover any differences in size and out-of-level of ceilings, walls and floors.
The joining line of the various plugging elements is ensured by 7 or 18 mm homogenous open escape routes, which can be masked with gaskets or with “omega” profiles with plastic folders concealing the fastenings. The walls have, for all plugging solutions, two-way line, two-way corner, as well as three-way and four-way connections.
  • Total finished wall thickness: mm 92-96
  • Supporting structure made from a single 50×34 mm profile for uprights and transoms
  • Mounting of the infills on the vertical uprights by means of a special “hook” accessory applied to the panels at four points
  • Solutions with central single, double coplanar glass 4-6 mm, with central double glazing max. 22 mm, or with 6 mm “semi-structural” application
  • Simple insertion of opening elements for doors and windows
  • Special lower plinth profile for installations that makes it possible to run cables and to affix space-saving recessed switches to door posts
