Sferisterio Theatre

The redevelopment project for the Sferisterio Theatre in Macerata included new seating and steel staircases. L’intervento si inserisce nel monumentale teatro all’aperto, noto per l’acustica straordinaria e il grande valore architettonico. L’obiettivo di Enzo Reschini è migliorare la use of the spaces by the public, while also ensuring sicurezza, durabilità e coerenza estetica with the historic context.

The new seating, designed for the stalls, offer comfort e solidità, meeting the needs of audiences during the opera season and cultural events. The steel staircases, with their clean design, resistant agli agenti atmosferici, facilitano l’accesso e la circolazione all’interno dell’arena, rispettando i vincoli conservativi imposti da una struttura di tale pregio.

L’intervento ha rappresentato un equilibrio tra innovazione tecnica e tutela del patrimonio, contribuendo a valorizzare uno dei luoghi simbolo della cultura marchigiana.
